Description of routine maintenance for outdoor LED Display (module)

 Modules for not bright or abnormal: Check signal direction of first abnormal module’s cable whether connects good with power cord. If the module doesn’t light up, it indicates that there is no power input, then please check the power supply (Can be used a multimeter to check),if blurred screen occurs( with color confusion of highlights) indicates that the module is no signal input, please check the first piece of abnormal module line of the input is connect tightly. If there is still have problem, you can exchange the new cable.

 A single module do not light: Check the module’s power supply is it good? Mainly to check module outlet if there is loose, if the whole piece of module appear color confusion or inconsistent color (but have signal input and correct picture) is signal transmission cable was bad contact, re-plug the cables, or replace the tested cable. If changed good line is still with the same problem, please check the interface of the PCB.

Single lights problem detection method: use a multimeter to check whether the LED is damaged, if the light is broken, please follow the first five for light. Specific measuring method: the meter hit resistance X1 file, multimeter black pen then the LED cathode, the red pen then the negative (black pen then a negative number table, red pen to positive), if the LED light, the light is measured Well, if the light does not shine, the measured light is bad.

 LED bad point maintenance(LED out of control points): after a single lamp test confirmed as LED is damaged, based on actual demand, selective use of the following maintenance methods.

 Front maintenance: from the front screws to remove the fixed mask with screwdriver with a corresponding model ( note to retain the screws) remove the mask, to replace the lamp( please follow below method to replace lamps) after restore the original mask for light and gel seal, tighten the screws ( please be careful not to suppress the screw on the lamp), and finally, please remove the gel residue on the LED carefully.



To remove the screws from the back(note to retain the screws),unplug the signal cable, for safety please keep plug in the power cable to prevent accidental, carefully remove the module from the sheet metal hole, move to the back of the box and maintain a positive approach in accordance with the maintenance of a single module for light (see below for methods for change lamp) or other maintenance.



Change lamp: remove damaged led surrounding gel with sharp tools( such as forceps), and to clearly show the LED pin in sight, the right hand forceps led, the left hand with a soldering iron ( temperature about 40 degrees, over high temperature will damage the LED) contact solder, and slightly stay( less than 3 seconds, such as over time it does not reach demolition request, please try again after cooling) to melt the solder, tweezers to remove the LED.



Will meet the requirements of the LED lights right into the hole of PCB, ( LED lights longer leg is positive, shorter leg is negative, PCB on the "square hole" for the LED positive pin jack, "hole" for the LED negative pin jack), To melt a little solder, bonding the iron head, adjust the led direction of tweezers, make it smooth, solder the connected place between LED and PCB, use the same type of colloid (PH=7) to seal LED.
