1 Q: How to calculate the resolution of led cabinet?

A: Resolution in horizontal = cabinet width÷pitch
Resolution in Vertical = cabinet height÷pitch
For example a P16mm 1024mm x 768mm led cabinet resolution is: 64 x48 pixels
Resolution in horizontal = 1024÷16 = 64 pixels
Resolution in Vertical = 768÷16= 48 pixels

2 Q: What’s the difference between aluminum and steel cabinet?

A:The main differences are: weight; antirust; price; heat dissipation;

With same design, weight of steel bare cabinet housing is around 2.2 x weight of aluminum cabinet, the exact ratio for the material in same cubage is: aluminum: steel = 2.7: 7.8 .However, the difference of the complete cabinet is not so big when taking modules, power supplies, locks, hanging structures and material thickness into account. Normally, for aluminum cabinet, we use 2mm aluminum plate while 1.5mm for steel plate.

Aluminum material is better than steel material on antitrust and anticorrosive aspect. Aluminum material can not be soldering together like steel cabinet, but using rivets to connect different parts together. The price for standard bare aluminum cabinet is around 3 times higher than standard bare steel cabinet.

Aluminum cabinet will be better for heat dissipation, which is approximately twice better than steel.

3 Q: How to keep the steel cabinet anti-rusted?

A: As we know, iron and steel material is easy to get rusted, so people use Zinc coated plate to make cabinet to avoid getting rusted. The more Zinc on the surface, the better antirust effect we can get.

4 Q: Why make cooling and heating system for the cabinet ?

A: The working temperature for led display is -2040.Within this range, the lower the better. In order to guarantee the led display in good working temperature, the manufacturers will keep good ventilation for the led display. Normally, there are fans inside the cabinet or A/Cs outside the cabinets as cooling system. If the temperature is extremely low like in Russia, it will be better to add some heating strips in each cabinet as heating system.

5 Q: Can the cabinets design customize?

A: Yes. We can design the cabinet as close as we can to meet the dimensions and colors required by customers.

6 Q: What is weather proof for the outdoor use cabinets?

A: Front: IP 65; Rear: IP 43
IP code (EN60529/IEC529) stands for Ingress Protection. First number means code of Protection against solid objects and Second number means code of Protection against liquids.

8 Q: What is the maximum weight of cabinet that the hanging structure can support?

A:  Not more than 500 kg.
If the complete cabinet weight is 70kg, it means that the maximum cabinets quantity is 7 pcs.
